About Iridology Scotland
Say hello to a new, healthier generation…
95% of millennials would rather be healthy than wealthy. 92% of millennials say they practice healthier habits today than they did growing up.
This exciting, but unprecedented change in mindset and behaviour among millennials could be the reason I've launched Iridology Scotland in 2019, mainly to raise awareness about this science-philosophy-art that is Iridology.
Iris analysis offers information that is simply not available through conventional laboratory tests and interpretations of a clients symptoms. These may show that something is wrong but seldom reveal which organ is affected. Iridology does this effectively, efficiently and reliably without requiring exploratory surgery, tissue biopsies, injections of dyes or chemicals to make organs appear distinct on X-Ray, or other uncomfortable and expensive diagnostic aids.
The way Iridology works is thousands of nerve fibres connected to your cells, tissues, and organs transmit their information up the spinal cord to the brain. The eye is an extension of the brain via the optic nerve. This neurological pathway of communication is how the eyes reveal a clear and complete picture of your health and how your body is functioning on multiple levels.
If you have been experiencing health issues and it has been difficult to pinpoint the area that needs help please let me know as we could both workout together a plan to a healthier you.
An Iris Analysis is unique! Is a simple, painless, non-invasive method of diagnosing the constitutional strengths and weaknesses of each and every organ inside your body.

Carolyn Aitken Dip. Ir.
Iridologist & Optician | Based in Helensburgh, Scotland
Hello, I’m Carolyn Aitken. I live in the coastal town of Helensburgh, near Glasgow, Scotland, with my husband and our daughter. I’ve worked as an optician since my early twenties and became a qualified iridologist in 2019.
As an iridologist, I am trained to analyse the iris—the coloured part of the eye—to help identify underlying health patterns and support clients in addressing a wide range of both chronic and acute conditions. I work remotely with clients from all over the world, but you're also welcome to visit me in person at The Lomond Clinic.
I enjoy yoga, running, playing hockey and I love spending quality time with my family after hectic years of hard work in very busy environments.
My strengths:
I love being a polyglot. I speak four European languages and understand a few more. I am convinced languages have opened up my mind and my heart in so many ways! I’ve been able to make friends all over the world, enjoy literature and cultural richness, and develop into a true citizen of the world.”
My name is Carolyn Aitken MCMA, Dip. Ir
I am a member of the Complementary Medical Association, Scotland, U.K.
I am passionate about helping others and bringing the very best in others too.
Life for me has always been amazing. I would like to bring you into that amazing place where you too coul feel harmony (bringing your body is back to homeostasis.)
I work with clients face to face in Helensburgh, Scotland and also remotely with clients from all over the world, as long as excellent quality photos are provided for the analysis.
Help is here, if you want to look after your health and be the best version of yourself, get in touch.
